wise words, I often try to point others in a better direction that I feel will benefit their lives and it is as if they know better and ignore what I tell them, like teenagers! but fully grown people asking what they cn do to be a better person and they ignore the advice??

yes it can be very frustrating, i guess for myself if people ask for advise i try to think of any ideas i share as seeds, sometimes they will not sprout straight away but over time when conditions are good they will start to grow, after-all this life can be difficult and sometimes people are not ready for change immediately.
but i still think the best way we can help others is through living a good life ourselves, live by those ideals rather than trying to give advise which can sound like preaching (some automatically close off when they feel like they are being preached to), the example we live will have a very subtle impact on others lives and for sure at some point it will ripen.
