  1. Thanks for this reminder that it’s where we are coming from and what we intend that is key.

  3. A person’s reaction is their “stuff” I think. I say this because recently I reacted very strongly, with hurt feelings, to something one of my best friends ever, did. And I knew that part of my reaction involved other times when I felt excluded. Eventually, I was able to, on the one hand, honour my feelings with regard to the situation, and on the other, release the part of it that was from past times. Living consciously allows us to see the lesson, honour who we are in this moment, and then breathe in peace. Doesn’t happen in an instant but it does release the other person from being responsible for our response. You will often hear me say this: It is not my responsibility to live up to your expectations of me. It is not your responsibility to live up to my expectations of you. I think that the more we own our “stuff”, the more we release people. If my intention is to bless, and you are offended, then I need to restate my intention and allow you the honour of processing your offended feelings. Phew. Hope that makes sense.

  4. Thank you for your insights, Joss… I have some suncatchers of a quote I saw in Nancy’s blog… “I bless you, I release you, I set you free…I allow you to be you, and me to be me…” …. I’m progressing at that, but still learning. Thanks Joss.
