“There’s so much you can rejoice in!”

The Easy Path, rejoice...there is so much you can rejoice in

  1. Kathy, Very nice! We constantly need to monitor our perceptions because unhappiness is a habit just as happiness is. I am taking a 52 week course that is a combination of mindfulness and psychology and I find it very helpful. 🙂

Is this quote by your friend Jampa? Noticed the credits at the bottom of the quote.

  2. That’s a different “Jampa”….the book that quote is from/by an older Tibetan monk that I went to several teachings with…he was wonderful…gentle, insightful and sweet…seriously, he was “sweet” as can be….isn’t that amazing????…. to have been through what they’ve been through and still be “sweet” and teaching about “rejoicing” as a major part of daily practice! That idea of “rejoicing” in that manner seems very unfamiliar to me, in the way it’s explained…but I’ve been trying to do that for the past week and it seems to lead to a shift. Apparently, Jampa, my friend from Australia/New Zealand, has written to me about that a lot, but I hadn’t quite noticed that idea, in that manner…odd how some important and helpful ideas might get overlooked!
And, Marie, how special that you’re taking such a helpful class… wonderful! Will you be posting about any of the ideas? I’d love to see posts about ideas you’re learning and practicing.

  3. Beautiful, Kathy. Thanks for the reminder that these moments of compassion and kindness and joy are everywhere, if you look closely enough.
